What's up?
Hi everyone.
Couldn’t help but notice that things have slowed down around here. So what’s up with everyone? It’s summer here in the USA and many people are on vacation or busy working. It is a hectic time of the year for us also, we are in construction and with all of the flooding in our area it has been hard to get our work done.
I was talking with Gezza and we were wondering what would be of interest to all of you that would help with participation here? We know you are busy but is there something that would be of interest to you?

Re: What's up?
I agree with Knorrasky.
In a nutshell, this site is largely here to help writers get better at what they do. The challenges and rings are there for that purpose, but they're not being used that much. I can understand if people don't want to do the challenges (and Knorrasky and I have put our heads together and will soon talk about ways of making them more attractive to a larger subset of the Guild), but it surprises me that not many of you are using the rings. This is where your ideas can be aired with others and where the real improvement process can take place. I appreciate our most recent Guildmember airing a story concept - that's exactly what we are about.
Hope to hear others' views on this, but more importantly, would love to see more of you critiquing works, joining the rings, throwing into the bullpen ideas or snippets of what you want to do, etc etc.
A fair number of us are happy to help you, understanding that it helps us as well!

T'was awesome, went to Venice, very inspirational. So yeah, back now. Ready to do some work!
Re: What's up?
Let me start with hello.
As some of you know, I've been on an extended leave of absence. Just looking at the boards I can see that much has changed in the couple of months that I've been gone. Lotsa new faces.
I'm looking forward to getting reinvolved, but it may take me some time to plow through and digest what's been going on while I was away.
I've missed the discussions and the creativity it sparks and hope to get into full swing very soon!
